  1. PRODUCTS AND PRICING

We take every care to ensure that product descriptions on our website are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.

Our products are priced in Euro. When paying by credit card this is the amount which will be deducted from your debit or credit card. When purchasing products with sterling or other currencies, debit or credit cards, the exchange rates will be set by the cardholders’ bank. These rates fluctuate on a daily basis, for further information, cardholder should contact their bank as exchange rates are not applied by Fleming’s Department Store. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.


  1. ORDERING GOODS

When an order is placed on our website, you will receive a confirmation email confirming we have received your order and it is being processed. You will receive a second email from us acknowledging that your order has been dispatched / ready for collection.

All products are subject to availability. Our display of products on our website is an invitation and not an offer to sell those goods to you. An offer is made when you place the order for your products.

If products that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you using the contact information you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response, we will continue to process any remaining products on your order. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorisation. If you would like to cancel your order please see returns section of our policy below.


  1. DELIVERY 

SHIPPING TO IRELAND, NORTHERN IRELAND 

Small Items (Below 35kgs) 

We charge €6.99 for delivery on items up to a weight 35kgs throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. Tracking number will be provided upon purchase.

Delivery time is 1 - 5 working days. 

Products from Brands like Tara lane will charge €10 and will take 8 - 10 days to deliver. 

Large Items(Above 35kgs) 

Local Delivery - €40 

(Local delivery entails Monaghan, Cavan, Armagh, Femanagh & Louth)

 

These items we delivery ourselves personally direct to your location.

Upon purchase confirmation a member of out team will contact you to agree a delivery date and provide you with a 4 hour window.

The Item will arrive at your location fully assembled and ready for immediate use.

SHIPPING TO UNITED KINGDOM

We charge £6.18 for delivery on Clothing & Gifts.

We charge £10 to deliver on Furniture, Home Interiors & Electronics. No custom charge required because we deliver it from Northern Ireland Warehouse. 

Delivery Time is 3 - 8 working days.

We deliver to UK with Royal Mail or Parcel Force. 

Products from Brands like Tara lane will take 10 - 15 days to deliver.

COLLECT ORDER INSTORE

When ordering your purchases online, you can opt to collect your items in store by clicking 'Click & Collect'. Our collection point is in our Gift, Home & Interiors Department on our first floor. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection.

Store Pick up times are during first floor department opening hours only: 9am – 6pm Monday to Saturday. You will receive an email to let you know when your order is ready for collection.

When collecting your items in store, remember to bring your order confirmation email which will be emailed to you once your order has been completed. We will accept the email in printed format or on a tablet or smart phone.

GIFT CARD DELIVERY / COLLECTION

Gift Cards purchased online will be dispatched or ready for collection in store within 24 hours of ordering. Please allow an additional day during bank holiday periods or times when the store is closed.

All Fleming’s In Store Gift Card orders for home delivery are sent via An Post.

All Fleming’s In Store Gift Cards for click and collect will be available for pick up in our gift, home and fashion department on our first floor during store opening hours only. You will receive an email notification to let you know when your gift voucher is ready for collection. Please note that gift cards sent via post or for collection will need to have funds activated by you or the recipient upon receipt / collection.

We use reliable postal services however we shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the parcels within the estimated timescales.

  1. ONLINE RETURNS POLICY

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchases from www.flemingsofmonaghan.com. However, should you wish to return an item purchased online, the following procedures and policies will apply.

Online Purchases

If you purchase an item from us online at www.flemingsofmonaghan.com, you may return the item, cancel the contract prior to delivery or cancel the contract within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding delivery if applicable) provided the returned goods are in a saleable condition, in their original packaging and have not been used or damaged. It is our policy to return goods to the purchaser if we suspect that any item(s) have been used or worn, are soiled, damaged or smell of smoke or any other odour.

Special order items may be returned in exceptional circumstances (please see below). 

**Please note we do not issue refunds on gift card orders.**

Returning Your Online Order

When returning your items, please enclose the returns label you received in your order. You will however be responsible for any postage / courier charges to return the item. We advise registering the return so as you have proof of postage and can track the status of your return.

Please ensure to use appropriate packaging, as only items that reach us in perfect condition will be accepted as returns. Once the item has been returned we will review it and once approved, your account will be credited. Please allow 14 days from this point for the money to be refunded to your account.

Returns can also be taken back to our store within 14 days. Please contact our Gift, Home & Interiors department directly if you would like to arrange an in-store return for an online purchase by Telephone: +353 (0)47 81344 extension 6 or Email: online@flemingsdeptstore.com 

Cancelling an Online Order

To cancel an order placed online you must notify us within 14 days of ordering or receiving your goods. If you wish to cancel your order then please send an email to online@flemingsdeptstore.com quoting your order number and we will forward you the required cancellation form. 

Exchanging Goods Purchased Online

We are happy to exchange a product purchased online for the same product but in a different size, if available, pending the product being returned is new, unused and in unworn condition with tags attached and in original packaging. Please contact our Gift, Home & Interiors department directly if you would like to arrange an exchange for your online purchase by Telephone: +353 (0)47 81344 Extension 6 or Email: online@flemingsdeptstore.com. If a different product is requested then a new order must be completed on the website by the user.

For reasons of health and hygiene we are unable to offer an exchange or refund on the following products once the original packaging has been opened, unless they are misdescribed or faulty:


- Cosmetics/Home Fragrances

- Pierced earrings and other pierced body jewellery

- Hats and hair accessories

- Towels and Bedding

This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods or your right to cancel orders under the consumer protection.

Special Order Items

In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to accept the return of a special order (non-stock items).

For online sales of special order (non-stock items), that we agree to accept as a return, we reserve the right to withhold 30% of the value you paid to purchase the item. 

Faulty or Defective Goods

If you purchase an item from us online that is faulty or defective then please contact us immediately and we will ensure to remedy the situation for you as soon as possible.

Fleming’s Department Store has the right to Repair, Replace or Refund the faulty items for the customer. If a refund is deemed appropriate then the full purchase price including delivery charge (if applicable) for defective or faulty items will be given.

SETTLING DISPUTES - ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We aim to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase and service given by us. However, if for any reason you are unhappy, please email us at info@flemingsdeptstore.com  and we will aim to resolve the matter immediately. You can also submit your complaint to an online dispute resolution process such as www.ccpc.ie 

  1. GIFT CARDS

Our In Store Gift Card can be redeemed in all of the following departments in store: Fleming’s Supervalu, Fleming’s Expert Electrical, Eason Fleming’s, Fleming’s Toymaster, Gift, Home & Interiors, Fashion, Barley and Bean Café, Sound Quality Gifts, McArdle’s Computer Store, Everything Baby, Connolly’s Chemist, Mc Quaid Opticians and Pretty Woman Beauty Salon.

This is an In Store Gift Card only so cannot be redeemed online.

Fleming’s In Store Gift Card Terms and Conditions

  • Your Fleming’s Gift card expires after 60 months from purchase. While the card remains valid until the expiry date, a monthly service fee of €3 will be deducted from the balance from month thirteen of date of issue.
  • Minimum card value is €10.00 and maximum card value is €500.
  • Gift cards cannot be redeemed online.
  • You should treat your card like cash; if it is lost or stolen you may lose all of the money on your prepaid card. You must contact us without unnecessary delay if your prepaid card is lost or stolen. This card is NOT a cheque guarantee card, a credit card or a debit card.
  • Online discount codes do not apply when purchasing a gift card online.
  • Gift Cards purchased online will incur a postage charge of €2 (Ireland & NI) or can be collected in store for free.
  • For security purposes, after purchasing a Fleming’s Gift Card online, you or the recipient of the gift card will need to contact us upon receiving it in the post, or when collecting it in store, in order to activate the funds and quoting your order number. Details of how to do this will be included along with your gift card or provided to you at the time of collection.
  • Fleming’s Gift Cards cannot be returned once purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash or other gift cards.
  • We cannot take responsibility for any gift cards that are lost, stolen or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery. Make sure your recipient has received their gift card, as it is their responsibility to keep their gift card safe.
  • We use reliable postal services for gift cards purchased online for home delivery however we shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the parcels within the estimated timescales.

Gift Cards purchased online will be dispatched or ready for collection in store within 24 hours of ordering. Please allow an additional day during bank holiday periods or times when the store is closed.

All Fleming’s In Store Gift Card orders for home delivery are sent via An Post.

Coupons, discounts, postage or delivery rates and promotional discount codes offered by www.flemingsofmonaghan.com are valid only as part of a purchase made on this website and do not include purchases made via SuperValu.ie or Expert.ie.

Online promotional discount codes or offers are not valid in store or on Giftcards or, sale reduced items.
